Thats why I decreased the spread of the Pellets. My point is: A shotgun can still have high effectiveness at 50 meters/yards, you just need the right ammo type, choke and barrel length. (A Wad is a Cup which holds the BBs/Pellets for the first few meters after the end of the barrel). Plus there are Chokes if it still doesnt stay as compressed as you'd like. There are even special Wad Types which force the pellets to stay even more compressed. Very High Close Range lethality, and still effective even at 50 meters (54,6807 yards for the special people). Its a widely and well known used type of Shotgun Ammo.

And since were dealing with a Combat Shotgun made for use against humans (I doubt UAC issues Shotguns for Birdhunting or Home Defense) its very probably that the type of ammunition we've been using since 93' is supposed to be 00.
